Inbox attachments are staged with the public message first. After reviewing them, you can save useful images or PDFs to the related asset's Files tab.

Use Save to asset files on an individual attachment when only that file should be kept.

If the promoted file is later deleted from the asset's Files tab, the Inbox attachment can be saved again.
Public submissions often contain the most useful evidence: damage photos, leak photos, incident PDFs, or receipts. Saving attachments turns that outside context into durable asset history.
