What submitters can attach
Review supported public form attachment types and limits.
Overview
Attachments help submitters show what happened instead of only describing it. When public attachments are enabled, submitters can include images or PDFs with their message so you can review the evidence before deciding what belongs in the asset record.
Supported attachments
Current limits:
- Up to 3 files per message.
- Up to 10 MB per file.
- Up to 25 MB total.
- Images and PDFs only.
Good attachment examples
Useful attachments include:
- Photos of leaks, damage, warning lights, or broken parts.
- PDF incident reports, estimates, receipts, or service notes.
- Screenshots that clarify a problem or review.
What happens after submission
Attachments are staged with the Inbox message first. After reviewing them, you decide whether to save them to the asset's permanent file library.
That review step matters because not every public attachment should become part of the long-term asset record.
