Troubleshooting verification issues

Help submitters recover when public form verification does not complete.

Overview

Public message forms use verification to reduce spam and automated submissions. If verification fails, the form cannot accept the message until the submitter tries again successfully.

What submitters should try

Ask the submitter to:

  1. Refresh the page and try again.
  2. Check their internet connection.
  3. Disable strict browser privacy extensions temporarily.
  4. Try another browser or device.
  5. Contact you another way if the issue continues.

Why verification can fail

Verification can fail because of network interruptions, aggressive privacy settings, blocked scripts, or browser extensions that prevent Turnstile from completing.

If this happens repeatedly, ask the submitter to send the details another way so the issue is not delayed.

Submission confirmations

Submitter confirmation emails are planned, but not yet available. For now, the form confirms the message was submitted on screen after a successful submission.
