Overview

Spaces are the rooms and areas inside a property—Kitchen, Garage, Backyard, Utility Room. They help you keep inventory and maintenance organized by where things are, so schedules, reminders, files, notes, and history stay easy to find over time.

Once a space is set up, you can link belongings to it, attach photos and documents, and track space-level maintenance (like HVAC filter changes, smoke detector checks, or seasonal tasks). iMaintain Copilot can also use your space context to help you plan, find, and summarize what matters.

QR codes and public messages

Spaces can use QR codes when the location matters. An Asset label can help authorized users open a room, shared area, utility space, or equipment area quickly. A Public message form can let someone report a maintenance issue, incident, or feedback about that space without signing in.
